Uni Student: First year Blog - An innovation In Community
In what I think is very interesting, and can only be described as a positive thing, uni students at melbourne Uni have been running a ‘First year Students’ blog since last year.
It’s a sign of the times. I like positive social engagement, I want to see positive change, indeed 2thinknow define innovation, in short, as positive change.
Using a blog to create communities, and share experiences and humanity is a positive change. Too much push media - TV,radio is about telling us what to think. (often based on what stats say ‘we want to hear’).

I think we need positive human voices unfettered by ’sounding important’ and the big stories. if there was one thing i saw, in our global themes was Social disconnection in all the cities of the world. Australia capitals are among the worst.
Baby boomers have left this legacy. it’s this generations job to reconnect, and blogs like this are a genuine social innovation. ie. a positive change.
PS. I hope you guys get your nutella! try it on crepes with apricots like in Austria!
